Worst Movies Ever??

What constitutes a movie to be rendered as one of the worst ever?

Bad Acting, bad writing, bad directing among other things constitute a bad movie.

Sometimes a director is completely enamored with what he thinks is a masterpiece that they fail to realize the train wreak that they are producing.

Many elements, when combined together form the perfect concoction of a film.

The Razzies are a good measure of what is horrible in a film; it is not a good measure of the worst movies of all time, since it started in 1981

There are many lists of bad movies, and each list is subjective, but the following is a snippet of the worst movies of all time.

This list excludes sequel, since bad sequels can make an entire list on its own, it also excludes superhero moves.

This list is not complete. There are some movies that have been left out; the only reason being is for space, since I can’t list them all. The movies are listed in no particular order.

So without further adieu or mindless writing, here is the list.

Glen or Glenda (1953)

A movie from 1953 by Ed Wood, this movie is about a cross dressing and Tran sexuality.

Robot Monster (1963)

A film from 1953, this is about, yes, a robot monster that has destroyed all human life on earth except 8 lucky few. This low budget movie was made by a then 25 year old Phil Tucker, often considered as one of the worst films ever.

The Conqueror (1956)

This movie starred John Wayne, who was at the height of his career. Plagued as a critical and commercial failure, it is said that Howard Hughes bought every print of the film and kept it from being seen. Additionally a total of 91 cast and crew members developed some type of cancer and 41 had died from filming the movie in Utah.

 Plan 9 from Outer Space

Another entry from Ed Wood, This movie is plagued with bad acting, terrible writing and amateurish cinematography. It’s so bad, that one can’t help but watch this movie which is chock full of crappy goodness

Santa Clause Conquers the Martians (1964)

A 1964 Science fiction film. Just the name. Really?

Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966)

This 1966 movie was made by Harold Warren on a bet. This movie was made by a crew that had little or no experience. The result was a movie that had a repetitious title.

Inchon (1981)

This war movie from 1981 combines military action with human drama. The movie was plagued with problems including the death of a cast member. The movie was quickly pulled from theatres after its initial release due to its poor performance.

Troll 2 (1990)

This movie was titled Troll 2 even though there was not a previous movie before it. The movie never showed an actual troll either. The cheesy dialogue and over the top acting branded it as a bomb, but gained it a cult following.

Showgirls (1995)

This movie starred former “Saved by the Bell” actress Jessie Spano, I mean Elizabeth Burkley. Even though this movie has a cult following, its graphic nature, bad acting, and overall cheesiness sinks this movie.

Battlefield Earth (200)

So “Battlefield Earth”. enough said.

The Room (2003)

This 2003 independent movie featured unrelated plots involving the supporting characters. So bad that it’s good, just misunderstood.

 From Justin to Kelly (2003)

This musical disaster makes High school Musical look like a gritty and raw depiction of teenage angst. The most PG spring break movie ever made.

Gigli (2003)

So “Gigli” a movie featuring the previously know “Bennifer”. I still don’t know how to pronounce the title, and with lines like “Gobble Gobble” (after JLo opens her legs), I don’t really care.

Catwoman (2004)

I was really excited about this movie, starring Halle Berry in a leather suite. It turned out to be a disappointment. Halle’s turn in Swordfish was better. At least we saw her breasts.

Alone in the Dark (2005)

This movie starred Tara Reid as a museum curator…… did anyone believe this casting? Not after watching Taradise.

This list is in no way complete, as many movies have been left out. This is only a snap shot of the films that Hollywood produces, and because this is Hollywood many movies would fill this list.

So what do you guys think? What are some bad movies that have come out of tinsel town? Or which movie classified as “bad” do you feel is not deserving of the moniker?
