Taylor Swift Vs The “Mean Girls”.

Is there a new fued brewing in Hollywood?

During an interview for Vanity Fair, Taylor Swift commented the incident that occurred during the Golden Globes. There was a joke made about Taylor that received laughs from the audience.

The joke is as follows:

Michael J Fox later commented on the joke stating, “No. No … Just back off.” and “I don’t keep up with it all, but Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right? What a way to build a career.”

During the Vanity Fair interview, when asked about the incident she responded, ” You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people, because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, “There’s a special place in Hell for women who don’t help other women.”

So Taylor wants Tina and Amy to go to Hell? That’s how I see that.

Tina responded to the quote, telling Entertainment Weekly, “If anyone was going to get mad at us, i thought it would be James Cameron. I did not see that one coming. It was a light-hearted joke.”

Amy Poehler told THe Hollywood Reporter, “Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to Hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff.”

Point Tina and Amy.

Is this fued even necessary. In Hollywood you have to posses the ability to make fun of yourself, espicially if you are a 23 year old songstress writing about your bad relationships like your an angry 15 year old. I am not denying she is not talented so back off swifties.

What do you guyes think? Did this merit the attention that it received?
