It wouldn’t be summer without a Smith appearing in a summer movie.

This time we get two Smiths, as in Will and Jaden Smith. Father and son who play father and son in a post apocalyptic earth. This will mark the second time the pair worked together since 2006’s “The Pursuit of Happiness“.

The movie was originally called 1000 A.E

The film is set 1000 years into the future, where earth has become inhabitable. Cypher (Will) takes his son, Kitai (Jaden) on a mission to Earth. Both Cypher and Kitai have to survive after their ship crash lands on Earth.

This marks M. Night. Shyamalan’s return to the directors chair after his 2010’s panned movie, “The Last Airbender.”

Will Smith can be seen next in “Winter’s Tale”, alongside Russell Crowe, Colin Farrell and Matt Bomer later this year.

Exactly likes its title, this movie seemed to come out of nowhere or the “Iron Man 3“/”Star Trek Into Darkness” ruckus has died down.

It will be interesting to see how these two movies place, since there is still high interest in last weeks entries, “Fast & Furious 6” and “The Hangover Part 3“, while “Iron Man 3” and “Star Trek Into Darkness” is showing a strong hold over.

Until Next Week

Good Bye
